My October Goals

October 1, 2018

My October Goals

Happy October! It’s a new month so that means it’s time for some new monthly goals. Last month, I made my September goals and completed almost all of them! October is one of my favorite months. Pumpkin spice is back, Halloween is around the corner, and it’s also my mom’s birthday month so it’s going to be a fun month! Coming up with goals every month and completing them is so motivating, so I challenge you to do the same!

Here are my personal & social media goals for the month!

Personal Goals:

  • Go to bed earlier. No more falling asleep around 2 am!
  • Wake up earlier. No more hitting snooze until 10 am. I find myself being more productive if I wake up early.
  • Drink more water. I’m guilty of not drinking enough.
  • Create a workout routine.
  • Learn some new dinner/dessert recipes. It’s baking season!
  • Visit a pumpkin patch with the family. (Cute photoshoot opportunity)

Social Media Goals:

  • Start taking high-quality pictures for my blog and Instagram.
  • Plan a giveaway!
  • Blog: 125 followers. (Currently at 106)
  • Instagram: 400 followers. (Currently at 385)
  • Twitter: 1,100 followers. (Currently at 1,047)
  • YouTube: 855 subscribers (Currently at 845)

I love making new friends on social media so let me know if you’re following me and I’ll follow you back. Also, there is a giveaway soon (beauty related) so follow me to make sure you don’t miss out!

Those are my goals for the month! This month, my personal goals are more health-related. I feel like I haven’t been making the greatest choices when it comes to my health. I’ve been drinking more juice than water, I’ve been procrastinating on working out, and my sleeping schedule is not where I need it to be. Sometimes we find ourselves falling into some bad habits but it’s never too late to make the changes you need to.

Want to join me on making goals this month? If setting goals seems a bit overwhelming, I understand. You can start off by creating just one goal for yourself this month. It could be something as simple as drinking enough water every day! Let me know your goals for this month and we’ll keep each other on track. ♥

Thank you so much for reading.

  1. I reading all about your goals for this month. I can’t wait to see your month end recap to see if you’ve completed them all.
There are a few goals I’ve set this month too. Write a few more chapters to my book I’m currently working on. Drink more water and less coffee ( even if it’s just 1 cup a day less), and another one is to complete all 8 arc’s I’ve gotten and review them on the blog.

    Sounds easy eh?
    LOL

  2. Good luck on reaching your goals this month! As far as drinking water, you should get a 32 or 44 oz water bottle to sip on throughout the day. That’s what i do & it works for me! This suggestion was made to me a few years back from a military friend.

  3. I also post goals each month, but what you do differently that I actually like is you set goals for your blog and social medias. I haven’t done that but I find it really interesting and might do something like that for next month!

  4. I’m also trying to commit to some goals – finish writing a book, post socially daily, publish a blog weekly… Some weeks this works 🙂

  5. I love seeing people’s goals, I definitely need to start doing this myself!! I’m sure you’ll smash all your October goals!

  6. I love your personal goals Amanda. I’ve been trying to drink more water and get up earlier too. It’s not going too bad at the moment but I’m hoping I’ll be much better at them by the end of the month. I hope you achieve all your goals, both personal and social media. I’ll follow you on twitter so that’s one step closer to your twitter goal!!
My goals are to join a fitness class or start a sport, drink more water, reach 100 followers on twitter and 30 followers on my blog. I also want to wake up earlier and be more of a morning person 😊😊

    1. 🙈🙈 sent my comment too early before I could finish. Also wanted to add that I really like your blog and I’ll be reading other posts too 💕

  7. Those are great goals! I’m sure you’ll hit them. I’m trying to be a morning person but I occasionally work night shifts at work so I always end up waking up around noon. Haha

  8. Great goals! I definitely liked your Social Media goals. Great ideas! Going to follow you right now. 🙂

  9. Great goals! I’m really guilty of falling asleep late and hitting the snooze button. The darker mornings always make it so much more tempting to stay in bed.
