My Blogmas Experience

Christmas is over which means that Blogmas is also over. When I first decided to do Blogmas, I had somewhat of an idea of what I was getting myself into. This was my first Blogmas ever so it was a new experience. It was about 2 weeks away from December when I saw everybody talking about if they were doing Blogmas or not. The thought of posting a blog post every day up until December 25th was a little bit stressful but I spent days planning out Blogmas ideas and started on posts right away so I felt pretty confident. I told myself if I even get 12 days into Blogmas without taking a break or having to stop, I would let that be a success to me. I usually only post about 2-3 times a week on my blog so this was a challenge that I was ready to take!

How Did I Do?

Well, I was able to post every single day up until the 13th! After the 13th, life got in the way and I started posting Blogmas posts every other day. I recently got a job so I wasn’t able to post every day until the 25th but for this being my first Blogmas, I’m still very proud of myself. I worked hard on preparing posts for weeks ahead and sharing them around social media every day. I even saw a huge growth in my blog views during this time and that made me so happy. When your hard work gets noticed, it just feels good!

Will I Do Blogmas Next Year?

I think I will try to do Blogmas again next year and even try to get up to the 25th day! Blogmas was actually a lot of fun to participate in and I loved reading other Blogmas posts as well. I’ve definitely noticed that the Christmas season brings out a lot of creativity and inspiration. Until then, I don’t think I’m going to be a blogger that posts every day. It was a fun challenge though! I’ll stick to posting 2-3 times a week so make sure you’re subscribed to my blog so you don’t miss out on future posts.

Did you participate in Blogmas? If so, let me know how you did!
