It’s Fall Time…
There’s something I realized I haven’t talked much about on my blog – I LOVE essential oils. I’ve been using essential oils in my life for about 5 years now. In those years I’ve realized how important quality oils are, how to use them, different ways to use them, and brands I genuinely trust buying from.
It’s the third week of September and even though Fall doesn’t technically start until September 22nd, I’m ready for all things Fall. I type this with a PSL next to me. Yes, I am THAT girl. No apologies. So in honor of Fall, I want to give you some ideas on how you can not only use essential oils in your home this season but introduce you to a company that I’m so excited about partnering with this month!
Who is Simply Earth?
Simply Earth is a company that sells more than just 100% ethically sourced pure essential oils. They’re a company that understands the importance of learning how to use their oils. They have a whole section dedicated to courses and an ebook that helps you learn more about your oils!
They also donate 13% of their profits to different organizations to help end sex trafficking. That’s a cause I’m very passionate about so I love that they’re doing something to help.
The products and recipes I will be sharing in this post are from Simply Earth’s monthly “big box” which is a subscription I’m obsessed with! Each month you get a themed box with 4 full-sized essential oils, 6 recipes, and fun extras! The big bonus box that you can get free comes with even more exclusive extras. For example, the September box comes with items you can use to make candles! Tell me that doesn’t scream fall time.
Everything you see below is valued at $118.98 BUT you can get it for only $39! Find the code below.
Now that I told you a little bit about Simply Earth, let me share five ways (and recipes) you can use essential oils in your home this fall!
Although ice cream isn’t what you typically think about when it’s Fall, candle making is a really fun Fall activity nonetheless! I love that in my box this month, the soy wax, beeswax, solidified coconut oil, and even the wicks came included! That makes candle-making just a little bit easier!
Here’s the recipe card if you feel like making this yummy-smelling candle!
DIY Fall Scented Pine Cones
Have you ever went to the store and bought those cinnamon-scented pinecones for the holidays? Every year for me. But this year, I challenge you to make your own! There are pinecones everywhere outside already where I live at I’m about to go on a fun adventure and collect a bunch for this recipe! This would be an awesome activity as well if you have kids.
Sweet Memories Roll-On
Essential oil roll-ons are probably one of the easiest things to make all year long! Plus the roll-on bottle comes included. Well, actually 12 of them so you can make a bunch of different roll-ons with different oils!
I did notice though that the recipe card calls for the Sweet Dreams essential oil and the oil provided in place of that in my box is the Peace & Quiet. I’m not sure if they ran out of Sweet Dreams or if it’s being replaced with that oil. Regardless, it’s such a calming scent that I don’t even mind!
Citrus Wax Sachet
Of course, you can buy nice smelling sachets at the store, but it’s more fun to make your own out of wax! This would be nice to hang in your bedroom, closets, or even place in your car (as long as it’s not a hot day)
Autumn Days Diffuser Blend
I run my diffuser almost daily! It’s such a natural alternative to air fresheners and they really work at making your home smell nice. In this recipe, it calls for all essential oils provided in the monthly box.
How much fun! I hope this got some ideas and inspiration flowing for fun Fall activities! There’s nothing I love more than playing around with essential oils on a chilly September afternoon.
You will get:
- The monthly box full of cozy falltime goodness $39
- A FREE big bonus box
- AND a $40 giftcard good for future purchases
I promise you, you won’t regret getting these goodies! Tell me what DIY activity you’ll be trying first in the comments.
